On behalf of our Partner, a well-established Environmental Consulting services company, we are seeking an experienced Technologist Surveying Engineer to participate in a significant 2-year project with the possibility of extension of 1 year. The project is located to Ptolemaida area and offers an excellent opportunity for professional development in a dynamic environment.
The firm has a leading role in the sector of environmental management as, through its projects, it has significantly contributed to the improvement of the quality of services in the field.
The main duties of this role include:
- Creation and continuous updating of a Database with the assets of the Project Authority for rehabilitation (buildings/facilities, electrical/mechanical equipment, land, machinery) nationwide in Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS or QGIS), with existing and new data.
- Collection of data in the field using various methodologies.
- Creation of GIS reports (2D & 3D).
- Ensuring compliance with safety measures and the contractual obligations of the Contractors.
- Physical presence at the facilities in Ptolemaida.
Qualifications include:
- Degree in Surveying Engineering (4-year program) from a Technological Educational Institute.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and collection of data in the field.
- Driver’s license.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Completion of military service for male candidates.
Nice to have:
- Background in surveying assets for rehabilitation in mining/quarrying projects.
- Experience with 3D visualization software (e.g., Geomagic Design X, Global Mapper).
- Skills in programming in Python.
