On behalf of our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications sector, we are seeking a motivated Sustainability Professional to support ESG and sustainability reporting initiatives within a dynamic corporate environment.
This is a project-based role (12-month duration), offering valuable hands-on experience in sustainability reporting, ESG frameworks (e.g. CSRD, ESRS), regulatory developments, and sustainability ratings and indices, within a structured and dynamic corporate environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will support the preparation of sustainability reports and ESG disclosures, participating in key projects aligned with evolving regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.
The role offers exposure to ESG frameworks, sustainability data processes, and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a freelance engagement (independent contractor role).
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of sustainability reports in line with applicable standards (e.g. CSRD, ESRS)
- Assist in responding to ESG questionnaires and sustainability assessments (e.g. CDP, EcoVadis)
- Contribute to the collection and consolidation of ESG data and KPIs
- Support internal teams in gathering and validating sustainability-related information and data
- Monitor developments in sustainability regulations and frameworks
- Assist in maintaining internal sustainability processes and reporting systems
- Support environmental initiatives, such as environmental management processes (ISO 14001)
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration with multiple departments (e.g. Finance, Operations, Procurement)
- Gain exposure to ESG ratings, regulatory requirements, and corporate sustainability practices in a structured environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience or strong academic background in sustainability / ESG
- Exposure or strong interest in ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across functions and organizations.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
