F2F Project Manager
SOS Children’s Villages Greece is a member of SOS Children’s Villages International, which is currently active in 136 countries. SOS Children’s Villages have been operating in Greece since 1975, with the aim to help children and young people who have lost or are at risk of losing parental care.
The main duties of this role include:
- Manage the Face-to-Face Project (street/Door 2 Door D2D/mall teams) of the Organization, defining, developing, and implementing strategies for its success, with the support of the Fundraising Director.
- Manage the Assistant(s)/Team Leaders of the Face-to-Face Project, ensuring their motivation and the execution of their primary responsibilities for the project’s success.
- Hold regular meetings to evaluate and monitor results, set individual and team goals in line with departmental objectives, and assist in the recruitment process for these positions.
- Develop motivation and leadership dynamics that aim for quality work and team performance, leading by example.
- Placing advertisements and promoting job openings in coordination with the Human Resources department (facers and team leaders). Managing interview logistics, conducting interviews and decision-making processes, training and supervising teams.
- Defining locations in the annual and monthly F2F project plan, contacting local authorities for permissions and associated bureaucracy, analyzing strategic locations, and requesting permission from shopping centers and other locations for the F2F project.
- Defining budget requests, budget management for materials involved in the projects (team identification, forms, covers, backpacks, etc.) and inventory control, including tablets.
- Daily control and analysis through street/D2D/shopping teams result records, monitoring results vs. objectives.
- Conducting regular evaluation meetings with teams: monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. Manage conflicts and issues.
- Defining bonus systems with the support of the Fundraising Director, Calculating and processing monthly salaries in coordination with the Finance Department. Timely response to low-performance situations and problem-solving to ensure established objectives are met.
- Develop motivation and leadership dynamics that aim for quality work and team leader performance, hold regular feedback and evaluation meetings.
- Ensure goal achievement, monitor, and report results, with the support of the Fundraising Department Director.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Sociology, or Social Policy.
- Proven experience as a Face-to-Face (F2F) Project Manager, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Experience working within NGO networks or in collaboration with nonprofit organizations.
- Passion for fundraising and alignment with the mission and values of SOS Children’s Villages.
- Enthusiastic and engaging personality, with a strong motivation for interpersonal interactions in outdoor settings.
- Highly responsible and autonomous, with strong reliability and punctuality.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to manage stress effectively.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Greece and occasionally abroad.

Contract Type: Fixed-term contract, with the possibility of renewal.
