On behalf of our partner, a leading company in Northern Greece, we are currently seeking an experienced and talented Document Controller for firm’s premises in Alexandroupoli, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.

 

The Role:

The Document Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy, quality, and integrity of all documentation. This role facilitates secure storage, proper archiving, and controlled access to documents in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and statutory regulations. By utilizing platforms such as Meridian and Microsoft SharePoint, the Document Controller streamlines documentation processes, supporting operational efficiency and maintaining regulatory compliance.

 

The main duties of this role include:

  • Oversee document control processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company standards.
  • Utilize Meridian and Microsoft SharePoint to manage documents efficiently, ensuring systems are user-friendly and accessible.
  • Train and support staff on document management systems, promoting adherence to best practices.
  • Create and maintain standardized templates that comply with operational, business, and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain an organized filing system to facilitate easy access and retrieval of documents.
  • Protect sensitive information by managing access controls, monitoring usage, and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Manage document revisions and archiving to ensure the use of current versions and proper storage of outdated ones.
  • Conduct audits, collaborate with departments, and act as the primary contact for document-related inquiries.

 

Qualifications include:

  • Diploma, associate degree, or higher in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in document control, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality.
  • Hands-on experience managing document management systems, preferably Meridian and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and continuous process improvement.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
  • Analytical skills for conducting audits and driving process enhancements.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
