On behalf of our Partner, a well-established Environmental Consulting services company, we are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer to participate in a significant 2-year project with the possibility of extension of 1 year. The project is located to Ptolemaida area and offers an excellent opportunity for professional development in a dynamic environment.
The firm has a leading role in the sector of environmental management as, through its projects, it has significantly contributed to the improvement of the quality of services in the field.
The main duties of this role include:
- Preparation of technical specifications, quantity take-offs, and budgets for the optimization of chemical processes used in mine rehabilitation project to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- On-site monitoring and supervision of removal activities, preparation of certifications, and financial oversight of mine rehabilitation contracts.
- Ensuring compliance with safety measures and the contractual obligations of the contractors.
- Physical presence at the facilities in Ptolemaida.
Qualifications include:
- University degree in Chemical Engineering (5-year program).
- 5 years of experience in the field of mine rehabilitation projects.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Driver’s license.
- Completion of military service for male candidates.
Nice to have:
- Experience in environmental rehabilitation of mining/quarrying projects.
- Experience in managing and monitoring of rehabilitation contracts.
