On behalf of our Partner, a well-established Environmental Consulting services company, we are seeking an experienced Agronomist to participate in a significant 2-year project with the possibility of extension of 1 year. The project is located to Ptolemaida area and offers an excellent opportunity for professional development in a dynamic environment.
The firm has a leading role in the sector of environmental management as, through its projects, it has significantly contributed to the improvement of the quality of services in the field.
The main duties of this role include:
- Preparation of technical specifications, quantity take-offs, and budgets for the phytotechnical rehabilitation of mines.
- On-site monitoring and supervision of phytotechnical rehabilitation activities, preparation of certifications, and financial oversight of contracts.
- Ensuring compliance with safety measures and contractual obligations of the contractors.
- Monitoring and protection of forest areas.
- Assessment and restoration of damage to forested areas.
- Phytotechnical Rehabilitation.
- Physical presence at the facilities in Ptolemaida.
Qualifications include:
- University degree in Agronomy or related field.
- 5 years of experience in the field of preparation and supervision of phytotechnical rehabilitation activities.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Driver’s license.
- Completion of military service for male candidates.
Nice to have:
- Experience in environmental rehabilitation of mining/quarrying projects.
- Experience in managing and monitoring rehabilitation contracts.
